CPN (UML) to forge consensus in favour of impeachment motion

Kathmandu : A standing committee meeting of the CPN (UML) has decided to support the impeachment motion registered at the Legislature-Parliament against Chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Lokman Singh Karki, and to forge consensus in favour of the motion.

The meeting held Tuesday at the Parliamentary Party Office of the CPN (UML) at Singha Durbar decided to forge consensus in favour of the impeachment motion by holding discussion with the political parties representing in the Legislature-Parliament, said CPN (UML) Secretary and Spokesperson, Yogesh Bhattarai.

The meeting presided over by party Chairman KP Sharma Oli took the decision in this regard.
