74 cases of Madhes-Tharuhat agitation withdrawn

Kathmandu : The government has shared that 74 out of 208 cases registered in course of the Terai-Madhes and Tharuhat agitation have been withdrawn from the concerned authority, in a manner that the cases cannot be reopened as per the existing law.
Apart from this, 22 cases were given clean chit and people implicated in five cases were released by developing documents as per the existing laws, said a statement released here Thursday by Home Ministry.
Likewise, 13 cases were settled and necessary actions are taking place to settle the remaining 94 cases, reads a press release issued by Ministry’s Spokesperson. Bal Krishna Panthi
