Madhesh-centric parties walk out of parliament meeting

Kathmandu : The Madhesh-centric parties boycotted today’s meeting of the Legislature-Parliament.
With the commencement of the meeting, Sadbhawana Party’s lawmaker Laxman Lal Karna expressed his concern over what he argued government ‘apathy’ towards making the constitution all-acceptable by addressing the voices of the Madhesi, indigenous and nationalities through its amendment.
He expressed his grudges over the non-implementation of a three-point agreement reached during the formation of the incumbent government.
Karna demanded that the government should immediately bring the constitution amendment proposal, calling upon the government to address the voices of the Madhesi parties raised peacefully and ensure the greater-acceptability of the country’s main law.
