Thapa named RPP PP leader

Kathmandu : The recently unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has picked party executive chairman Kamal Thapa as Parliamentary Party leader. The meeting of RPP Parliamentary Party held today also named Dipak Bohara as PP deputy leader.
Names of other PP office-bearers will be decided upon soon, said PP chief whip Dilnath Giri.
The meeting also decided to mobilise all party leaders and cadres to expedite the strengthening of party organisation and conclude party general convention slated after two months successfully, he said.
On the constitution amendment proposal the government is expected to register in Parliament, the meeting decided to take party views on the matter only after the proposal is registered given that the government was yet to inform the party of matters related to the constitution formally and the party itself was yet to discuss ways how to move ahead accordingly, he added.
