DPM Nidhi for strong security arrangement in FSU election

Kathmandu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs, Bimalendra Nidhi, has directed the bodies concerned to make the effective arrangement of security in the Free Students Union election scheduled for coming February 25.
DPM Nidhi directed this to chiefs of three security bodies in course of holding discussion with stakeholders related to FSU election here on Wednesday.
He shared that discussion was underway with leaders of different political parties over the issue of FSU election.
Similarly, Vice-Chancellor of the Tribhuvan University, Dr Tirtha Khaniya, stressed the need of holding the FSU election on the scheduled date.
Earlier this morning, discussion was held among Prime Minister and UCPN (MC) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the official residence of the Prime Minister, Baluwatar to hold the FSU election on the scheduled date.
