Election preparation gains momentum

Myagdi, April 1, The District Election Office has intensified preparation of local level election scheduled for coming May 14.
Placing 72 polling centres in different parts of the district, the Office has stepped up preparation on human resource management, interaction on security strategy and voters’ education.
As many as 72,000 voters are taking part in civic polls in a municipality and five rural municipalities of the district. The internal preparation has been intensified accordingly, shared District Election Office Kedar Nath Poudel. He further informed that 237 people’s representatives would be elected at local level through voting process.
The District Security Committee would make entire arrangements for security during the election.
