Fire continues to rage in Sakhuwa destroying 40 plus houses

Lahan, April 10, At least 40 houses were destroyed after a fire broke out at a Dalit community in Sakhuwa Nankarkati-8, Siraha.
The fire that started this evening from the dried hay of local Harinarayan Mandal has destroyed 40 houses of 25 families.
Sub-Inspector of Area Police Office, Maheshbari, Ram Krishna Chaudhari said that the fire is yet to come under control. Chaudhari added that the details of the damages are not confirmed so far adding that the fire still continues to rage.
The local residents said that the police personnel and local residents have been continuing their efforts to douse the fire.
Likewise, the fire engines from Lahan, Siraha and Rajbiraj are being called to extinguish the fire. RSS
