National unity need of hour: Vice-Chairman Rawal

Bhaktapur, April 6, Vice-Chairman of the CPN-UML, Bhim Bahadur Rawal, has said the country at present was in need of such political force that consolidates national unity.
Addressing a programme organized by Nepal National Teachers’ Organization, Bhaktapur Chapter here Thursday, Vice-Chairman Rawal said all Nepalis should be united to keep intact the national glory and unity. “Peace, democracy, social justice, equality, national unity can unify the people from diverse ethnicities and languages in Nepal,” he argued.

He urged one and all not to do the politics favouring any particular ethnicity, lingual group and geography. All need to take ownership of the constitution, which is written with the participation of all sides. As the constitution is the document of consensus, it has reflected the aspirations of all citizens, added Vice-Chairman Rawal.
