Constitution amendment for broader acceptability: General Secretary Koirala

Dhangadhi : General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Dr Sashank Koirala, has said it has been necessary to ensure broader acceptability of the constitution with its amendment.
During a concluding session of the four-day long orientation organized by the NC Kailali here Monday, General Secretary Dr Koirala said although Nepal has made excellent constitution, its amendment was imperative to address the grievances. “As the constitution was brought under NC’s leadership, it is again NC’s role to take initiative for the amendment.”
On the occasion, NC central member Gururaj Ghimire said it was not necessary for the party to make comments on minor issues as the country was facing convoluted politics.
Other leaders of the party and district president spoke on the contemporary issues of the party and of the country.
