Child suffocated to death

Dang, Feb 12: A seven-year-old boy was found dead inside an empty trunk in Dang on Sunday. He apparently died of asphyxiation as he accidentally got locked inside a trunk.
The body of Dipesh Dangi, son of Chitra Bahadur Dangi of Dholpur, Panchakule VDC-8 who had gone missing since Saturday night was recovered from trunk used to put clothes, according to Area Police Office Khilatpur’s Police Inspector Indra Bahadur Saud. Child’s grandmother found the baby dead as she opened the box to take out her shawl.
The child was found dead holding a note of Rs 10 and police guessed that the child got accidently locked inside the container as he entered there in his attempt to retrieve the note after it fell into the trunk. Police are probing further on death, it is said.
