Chinese Defense Minister Chang arriving on Thursday

Kathmandu, Chinese Defense Minister General Chang Wanquan is arriving in Kathmandu on Thursday for a three day official visit to Nepal.
Minister Chang coming to Nepal at the invitation of Defense Minister Bal Krishna Khand is leading a 19-member delegation, said the Ministry of Defense.
During his visit, Minister Chang is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. He is also to hold meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and his counterpart Bal Krishna Khand.
Similarly, it is said the Chinese Minister would visit the earthquake-hit heritages.
Issues of bilateral interest and assistance would be discussed during the meeting, said Spokesperson at the Defense Ministry, Uttam Prasad Nagila. RSS
