UML’s campaign for national awakening: Chairman Oli

Biratchowk (Morang), March 5: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that the party’s ongoing campaign was for national awakening, not for electioneering.
The campaign was conducted to meet the people’s expectations for conducting polls and implementing constitution, Oli said while addressing a mass meeting organized by the party in Morang on Sunday.
Saying that the UML believes in action instead of talks, the former prime minister claimed that some political parties were hindering the UML’s campaign thinking that the veil of their illusion would be exposed.
“The UML has remained in the hearts of the people despite quitting the government,” he argued.
Likewise, UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Bahadur Rawal and other leaders expressed their opinions, saying that constitution amendment was not needed.
