Both constitution amendment and election will take place-NC President Deuba

Dhangadhi : Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his confidence that the constitution amendment would take place in consensus of Madhes-centric parties and also come into effect.
At a programme organized by NC, Kailali to felicitate him here on Thursday, leader Deuba said, “I held dialogue with Madhes-centric political parties on the constitution amendment front. Dialogue with UML Chairperson and the Prime Minister was also positive to that end. The problems would be resolved soon”.
Noting that the country would witness the implementation of the constitution after its amendment and holding of local, national and provincial elections, Deuba claimed, “With the implementation of the constitution all types of confusions and problems would wash away”.
Pledging that he would materialize the commitments he made earlier for the development and transformation by all means, he shared that the tasks of constructing the road from Khuriya to Dipayal, six-lane road from Attariya to Gauriphanta border and the road from Sahajpur to Bogtan and control of the Mohana River have already begun.
President Deuba stressed internal unity in the party and directed the cadres to work to win hearts of the people to make NC victorious in the local election.
On the occasion, NC Kailali President Nar Narayan Shah felicitated President Deuba. Deuba is the first-ever President of the NC from the far-western region.
