Initiative will be taken to open Chainpur-Taklakot border point: PM Dahal

 

Kathmandu : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said he would talk to the Chinese government to open the Chainpur-Taklakota border point.
PM Dahal said this during a discussion with an all-party delegation from Bajhang district that called him on Thursday.
Receiving a memorandum from the delegation, PM Dahal said Taklakot is one of the most significant border point, so efforts would be made to open this border point.
Moreover, he assured the delegation that he would talk to the concerned ministries and officials to that regard, mentioned a press release issued by the PM’s Secretariat.
The delegation also drew PM’s attention on development activities and difficulties in daily lives in the remote Bajhang district. Citing heavy decline on production of crops, the PM was urged for launching food security programme in Bajhang district too. The PM was also requested for contributing more funds to the district natural disaster rescue fund.
