Government’s dealing on foreign affairs reckless, disgraceful: Chairman Oli

Dhangadhi : CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has commented that the government’s dealing on foreign affairs was quite reckless and disgraceful.
During a press meet organized by Press Chautari Nepal here Tuesday, UML Chairman and former Prime Minister Oli said the government should understand well the importance of balanced neighbourly relations. “UML does not agree on the foreign dealings of the government which are against national interest,” he underscored.
According to him, the UML was for the effective implementation of the constitution but the government was turning a deaf ear to it. “If the constitution is being amended for the sake of country, people and the development, UML extends support,” he said, adding that it cannot be amended in the interest of particular people and the party.
Moreover, the UML Chairman said his party would emerge tough on those acting against national unity, progression and development. The government activities are slow off the mark, he blamed.
Responding to a query, he expressed confidence that the impeachment motion against CIAA Chief Lokman Singh Karki would be passed by the parliament.
