Mahottari has 256 polling centres

Gaushala, April 12, Two hundred fifty six voting centres have been assigned in Mahottari district for the upcoming local level election.
Before this, the district had 233 polling centres. The district has three municipalities, namely Bardibas, Gaushala and Jaleshwar, and 12 rural municipalities.

A meeting chaired by the Chief District Officer Birendra Yadav decided to set up 256 polling centres in the district after dissolving two polling centres and making adjustment in five other polling centres.
There are 308 thousand 402 eligible voters in Mahottari district this time.
